RMI expands capabilities with new Citizen 7-Axis Swiss lathe.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new CINCOM L20-series Type VIII - the fastest, most efficient 7-Axis L20-series lathe ever developed by Citizen. Full servo axes and advanced technologies enable faster machining operations while reducing non-cutting idle time by 40%. The machine is fully equipped with a thread whirling spindle, 30,000 rpm air spindles, high pressure coolant and a magazine bar loader.

RMI was recognized for our contribution to the development efforts of a 2009 MDEA award winning product, the InterFuse Interbody Fusion Device from Vertebral Technologies Inc. The product is an assembly, manufactured from PEEK-OPTIMA®, providing a customized fit for each patient using a minimally invasive approach. Its unique rail-and-slot design locks up to six small modules together into a solid, large construct. RMI manufactures the components within our dedicated PEEK isolation cell.
